Award winning film production and distribution powerhouse, The Audrey Silva Company has announced a new movie project scheduled for release later this year. Titled Surulere,the movie’s predominant themes are patience, fate and the promise of love.

Nollywood star actor Desmond Elliot whose joy currently knows no bounds following his victory at the recently held House of Assembly election is telling anyone that cares to listen that he’s looking forward to a successful tenure as a member of the Lagos State House of Assembly. The star actor emerged winner of Lagos State House of Assembly election. He will be representing Surulere Constituency 1.

Written by Gbenga Adesanya and directed by fast-rising Nollywood director, Ike Nnaebue, the movie is a romantic thriller depicting the lives and sarcastic travails of two frustrated adults, Raymond Citizen, an insurance marketer, and Jeffa Adolo, a beautiful but out-of-job journalist, both desiring to break out of jinx which surround their personal and professional lives.

The Olu of Warri, His Majesty, Ogiame Atuwatse II, CON, outgoing Governor of Delta State, Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan, CON and the State’s Governor-elect in the just concluded governorship elections, Senator (Dr.) Ifeanyi Okowa are among top dignitaries that will converge on Warri on Friday, May 1, to behold a command performance of the play, ‘Olu Akengbuwa’, produced and directed by award-winning filmmaker, Comrade Alex Eyengho.
