SubscribeIs there injustice in God’s redemptive justice?
Jesus says: “Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.” (Matthew 5:44-45).

The Lying Tongue(2)
Jesus says: “Not what goes into the mouth defiles a man; but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man.” (Matthew 15:11). Out of the mouths of men come lies upon lies.
The lying tongue
A lie is something false said with the intention to deceive. To tell a lie is to avoid telling the truth. This is done by saying something untrue outright, or by fudging the truth.
Does God change his mind?
One of the seemingly difficult questions arising from the scriptures is whether God ever changes his mind. On the one hand, it is clear that God is omniscient and immutable. Peter said to Jesus: “We understand that you know everything.” (John 16:30). God declares “the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done.” (Isaiah 46:10). Therefore, he does not and cannot change his mind.
Practising the Presence of God (2)
Are you careful about the way you spend your money? Well, what about your time? How do you spend it? Time is one of the most precious “commodities” we have. David says to God: “My times are in your hand.” (Psalm 31:15). This shows we don’t even know how much time we have. Besides, it is a depleting and non-renewable resource
Practising the presence of God
Most Christians don’t know what it means to be saved. If you ask us, we are likely to say we are saved from the agony of spending eternity in hell.
Jesus’ crucifixion became his coronation
They were expecting a visiting Head of State from another kingdom. The streets were lined with people. School children were everywhere, holding and waving flags. The roads were completely cleared of all vehicles.
Practical Christianity: Walking in the Spirit (1)
What does it mean to “walk in the Spirit?” The very idea is bound to be puzzling to “Nicodemus Christians.” When told of the imperative to be “born again,” Nicodemus asks: “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?” (John 3:4).

God is not good all the time
Nobody spoils a man’s life like Jesus. Jesus is a killer of all worldly joy. God’s attitude to the world is often lost on many. God hates the world system
Celebrating the victory of Jesus
God created the first man, Adam, in his image and likeness. He then put him in his garden of Eden to tend and take care of the garden. He gave Adam a seemingly simple injunction: “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.” (Genesis 2:16-17).
God is slow to anger and abundant in mercy
The Lord sent me on an errand. He asked me to go and talk to an old man about Christ. I can never say “no” to the Lord, but I dragged and dragged my feet. I had known the man all my life and felt it would be presumptuous for little me to preach to him. As I dilly-dallied, I was informed he was seriously ill in hospital. Then I became afraid. What if he died?
The wages of sin is not eternal torment (III)
When God kills, his killing does not nullify his love. He kills to reprove and with the firm intention to redeem and renew life.
The wages of sin is not eternal torment (2)
From God’s righteous perspective, the ultimate punishment that can be imposed on the sinful is death.
