Captain Simisola Ajibola who operated the Air Peace flight on July 23, which had nose wheel collapse on landing at Muritala Muhammed Airport , Lagos yesterday debunked reports saying the aircraft landed without tyres.

Air Peace airline Wednesday, said the airworthiness of their planes has nothing to do with the incidence that involved their plane on a flight from Port Harcourt that had “hard landing” in Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos.

The Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) has reopened the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos for flight operations, following Tuesday’s incident involving an Air Peace aircraft at the airport.
