The Aliyu Bin Abbas Organisation (ABAO) has formally unveiled its support group for the presidential ambition of the Action Democratic Party (ADP) candidate, Ambassador Aliyu Bin Abbas, at an event in Kano ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The event attracted political stakeholders, youth and women groups, professionals, entertainers and supporters from different parts of the country.

According to a statement issued on Thursday by the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the ADP presidential candidate, Mr. Okpani Jacob Onjewu Dickson, the gathering reflected what organisers described as a growing movement committed to promoting visionary leadership, national unity, justice and inclusive development.

Speaking at the event, the National Convener of ABAO and musician, Malam Ali Jita, said he established the organisation out of his conviction that Nigeria requires visionary leadership.

He urged Nigerians to support Ambassador Abbas and the ADP in the 2027 presidential election.

Addressing supporters, Abbas described the unveiling as the beginning of a movement anchored on hope, purpose and a shared commitment to building what he called “a New Nigeria.”

“Yesterday marked the birth of a movement driven by hope, purpose and an unwavering commitment to building a New Nigeria.

“The overwhelming support, enthusiasm and solidarity demonstrated at the event reaffirm that the dream of a prosperous and united Nigeria is alive in the hearts of our people,” he said.

The ADP presidential candidate also commended Ali Jita for supporting the initiative.

“We express our deepest appreciation and profound gratitude to the renowned artist and National Convener, Malam Ali Jita, for his exceptional courage, unwavering commitment and steadfast belief in our collective quest to birth a New Nigeria,” Abbas said.

According to the statement, Ali Jita’s decision to support the movement has inspired many Nigerians, particularly young people.

Abbas expressed confidence that with collective commitment and determination, Nigeria could become a nation where justice, peace, equal opportunities and dignity are guaranteed for all citizens.
