15-yr-old Ansar-ud-Deen student shines at Lagos debate competition

Adeyemi Mariam, a 15-year-old Senior Secondary School Two (SSS 2) student of Ansar-Ud-Deen Girls’ High School, Itire, has emerged as the Overall Winner and Best Speaker at a prestigious debate competition held in Lagos.
The event, organized by the Female Muslim Students of the College of Medicine, University of Lagos (CMUL), in collaboration with the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), brought together young talents to showcase their intellectual abilities and public speaking skills.
Mariam’s performance stood out for its eloquence, confidence, and clarity of thought, earning her the top prize and the admiration of judges and participants alike. Her achievement highlights the growing recognition of young voices in shaping discourse on critical issues in society.
The management of Ansar-Ud-Deen Girls’ High School Itire congratulated Mariam on her remarkable success, describing it as a reflection of her academic excellence and dedication.
