ScoutDecision has entered a strategic partnership with the Danish Football Development Initiative (DFDI) in a move aimed at widening global opportunities for Nigerian footballers and strengthening structured pathways from grassroots to professional football.
The collaboration, according to a statement by by DFDI Partner and FIFA agent, Boma Ekiyor, brings together ScoutDecision’s global scouting technology platform and DFDI’s established player development structure, with a shared focus on identifying, nurturing and showcasing emerging Nigerian talent to clubs and recruiters worldwide.
Ekiyor noted that Nigeria remains one of the most important football talent markets in the world, consistently producing elite players who compete at the highest levels of the game.
“With clubs increasingly looking to Nigeria to identify and develop young talent, the country has become a critical destination for scouting, recruitment, and long-term player development investment.
“Through this partnership, ScoutDecision and DFDI will work together to increase the visibility of Nigerian players and create new opportunities for clubs, scouts, and decision-makers seeking access to high-potential talent,” the statement read
It added that by combining DFDI’s expertise in talent identification and player development with ScoutDecision’s global scouting and recruitment platform, both organizations share a common mission: to nurture, develop, and showcase Nigerian football talent on the international stage.
“This partnership represents an important step in our commitment to making football talent more discoverable and accessible worldwide,” said ScoutDecision’s Chief Executive, Jose Dinis Cardoso.
The statement also added that, “this partnership with ScoutDecision allows us to strengthen opportunities for Nigeria, which is one of football’s most exciting talent markets while creating greater openings for players and recruitment professionals alike.
“As part of this initiative, ScoutDecision is inviting professional clubs, academies, scouts, sporting directors, agents, and recruitment teams to join the platform and gain direct access to verified player profiles, scouting opportunities, and emerging talent from Nigeria and beyond.”
The partners therefore called on organisations interested in expanding their recruitment networks and discovering the next generation of football talents to contact ScoutDecision or contact DFDI to become part of a growing global community dedicated to smarter, more connected player recruitment.
