Nigerians have been urged to unite against terrorism by remaining vigilant, reporting suspicious activities and supporting communities affected by insecurity across the country.

The call was made in a message circulated under the campaign hashtag #UniteAgainstTerror, which emphasized the need for collective action in tackling terrorism and other security threats.

The campaign encouraged citizens to promptly report suspicious movements and activities to relevant authorities, stressing that timely information could help prevent security breaches and save lives.

It also urged Nigerians to reject rhetoric and narratives capable of creating division along ethnic, religious, or political lines, both online and offline, noting that national unity remains a critical weapon in the fight against terrorism.

According to the message, citizens should stand in solidarity with communities affected by acts of terror, describing victims of insecurity as members of one national family deserving empathy, support, and protection.

The campaign further called on Nigerians to demand accountability from leaders and individuals at all levels, maintaining that collective responsibility is essential to promoting peace, security, and national cohesion.

Amplified through the hashtags #NigeriaSecurity, #PeaceCrushesTerror, and #PeaceAndUnity, the message reinforced the need for a united front against terrorism and insecurity nationwide.
