NCDMB, Lobosway launch five-day data analytics training in Abuja

ABUJA, FCT — The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), in collaboration with Lobosway Global Resources, has commenced a five-day training programme on Data Analytics and Business Intelligence for 50 beneficiaries in Abuja.

The programme, which began on June 29, 2026, will run until July 3, 2026, as part of NCDMB’s Human Capacity Development initiative aimed at equipping Nigerians with in-demand digital skills to boost local capacity and value retention.

The training will provide participants with practical knowledge in data collection and analysis, data visualisation, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, SQL fundamentals, and the application of data-driven insights to business decision-making.

The 50 beneficiaries, selected from Abuja and surrounding areas, will participate in intensive classroom and hands-on laboratory sessions throughout the programme. They are expected to receive certificates upon successful completion of the training.

According to the organisers, the initiative underscores NCDMB’s commitment to developing a digitally skilled workforce capable of competing in the global economy while supporting the implementation of the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Development Act.
