A former National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member who served at the National Assembly, Godsfavourite Onyinyechi Joy Emejuru, has dedicated her newly authored book titled The Silent Truth to Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan and social commentator Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), describing them as symbols of courage, resilience and truth.

Godsfavourite, a Nigerian author, speaker and founder of The Wright African, made this known ahead of the official unveiling of the book scheduled for Sunday, June 21, 2026, at the Assemblies of God Church, National Worship Center, Area 11, Garki, Abuja.

Speaking on the reason behind the dedication, the young author explained that both personalities embody the central message of her book, which focuses on resilience, healing, purpose and the courage to speak out despite challenges.

According to her, The Silent Truth reflects on finding one’s voice and refusing to remain silent in difficult moments.

“I dedicated this book to Senator Natasha and VDM because they represent courage in different ways. The Silent Truth speaks about finding your voice, standing for truth and refusing to remain silent despite challenges,” she said.

The former corps member particularly praised Senator Natasha for her resilience, leadership and determination, noting that the lawmaker has become a source of inspiration to many young women across the country.

“Senator Natasha inspires many people through her strength, leadership and resilience. Over time, I have followed her story and how she remained resilient despite challenges. She stands out as a role model and an Amazon to young girls who desire growth, confidence and a voice in society,” she stated.

She also commended VeryDarkMan for his boldness in speaking out on societal issues without fear.

“VDM represents boldness and fearless expression. His courage in speaking against injustice and societal wrongs is exceptional. Their journeys reflect values that align with the heart of this book — truth, courage, purpose and impact,” she added.

Godsfavourite explained that the dedication is a symbol of appreciation for individuals who inspire others to rise above limitations and speak truthfully.

“The dedication is a symbol of appreciation for people who inspire others to rise and be heard. I dedicated this book to them because they symbolise courage and speaking truth. Their influence reflects the message of the book,” she said.

The Silent Truth reflects on resilience, healing, purpose and the strength to overcome life’s silent battles. It delivers a message of hope and courage, especially to young people striving to find meaning despite life’s challenges.

The unveiling event is expected to attract young leaders, authors, students, faith-based organisations and public figures from across the country.
