Michael Andre Ekwemalor is a Nigerian entrepreneur working in the construction industry. His career has developed alongside broader changes in Nigeria’s infrastructure and real estate environment over the past two decades.
He was born on October 28, 1980, in Lagos and is originally from Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State. He grew up between Delta and Lagos.
Ekwemalor is the son of Prof. Anthony Ekwemalor and Mrs. Felicia Ekwemalor. His educational background includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Lagos State University, participation in the Advanced Management Program at the University of Oxford, and training in civil engineering through the Royal Institute for Chartered Engineers.

He began his professional career in 2006, entering the construction sector during a period of increased demand for infrastructure and housing development in Nigeria. He currently serves as Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Mase Group, a company involved in construction-related services.
Mase Group operates within a sector influenced by urban expansion, public and private investment, and changing economic conditions. The construction industry in Nigeria continues to face structural and operational challenges, including cost pressures, regulatory requirements, and access to financing.
Based in Lagos State, Ekwemalor’s work takes place within this broader industry context, where construction firms contribute to infrastructure delivery while navigating a complex operating environment.
His career has involved developing organizations, overseeing infrastructure-related projects, and working across different business environments.
