A prominent Nigerian philanthropist and presidential hopeful come 2027, Chief Emeka Agba has sent a goodwill message to Nigerians as Christians in Nigeria joined other Christian faithful across the globe to celebrate Easter, the feast of resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Chief Agba, a political commentator and strong voice in national issues, in his message, reminded Nigerians to see the celebration as a moment of reflection over the challenges the country is passing through, while urging every citizen to be law abiding and have hope for greater things to come.

He stated: “As we celebrate this sacred season of Easter, we are reminded of the enduring power of sacrifice, hope, and renewal.

“Easter is not just a celebration. It is a message. A message that even in the darkest moments, a new beginning is always possible.

“Today, many Nigerians are burdened by hardship, rising cost of living, economic uncertainty, and growing concerns about the future. But just like Easter teaches us, our story will not end in struggle. It will end in renewal, restoration, and progress,” Chief Agba added.

The Presidential aspirant highlighted that Easter is a moment for everyone to reflect on the country’s economy, policies and activities of the government, to see if it really reflect the purpose, noting that such reflections will put government initiatives on the spotlight to asses its benefits on the masses.

“As we look toward to 2027, I make pledge with clear promises, to pursue transparent and accountable leadership, and to ensure our wealth benefits every Nigerian. With intentional focus, we are poised to strengthen the economy, ensure that we create and maintain infrastructures that reflect human needs, as we also, would ensure a move from survival to stable economy, Chief Agba noted.

As he charge Nigerians to remain hopeful and united, he said a new Nigeria is closer.

“At this period of Easter celebration, let us renew our faith, not just in God, but in Nigeria. Let us believe again that a better government is possible and stronger economy is achievable. The dawn of a new Nigeria is closer than we think,” he said.
