In an extraordinary and strategic alignment of two leading lights in the Nigerian political landscape, the Honourable Member of the House of Representatives, Engr. Esosa Iyawe, has paid a special visit to Nigerian President, Bola Tinubu.

With the dawn of the political season almost set to break forth, the antagonists and proponents have been busy crossing the Ts and dotting the Is in  sharp readiness for what promises to be a riveting contest at the polls in 2027.

The electioneering season, according to the revised timetable by the Independent National Electoral  Commission, sees the Presidential and National Assembly elections flagging off the 2027 polls on Saturday 16th January and in seeming  strategic  alignment ahead of this, the hard working Hon. Esosa Iyawe, representing Oredo Federal Constituency Edo State,  met President Tinubu at the State House in Aso Villa, Abuja.

Sharing details of his parley with the Nigerian President on his verified Instagram page, Esosa Iyawe, who is strongly favourite to win the ticket of the All Progressives Congress for a return to the House of Representatives, said he was expressly confident that Nigeria was on the path of renewed growth under the stewardship of Tinubu.

While commending President Tinubu for providing purposeful leadership for Nigeria, Esosa Iyawe said, “It was an honour to pay a courtesy visit to His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, whose visionary leadership and bold reforms continue to chart a progressive path for our great nation. I deeply respect his courage, strategic foresight, and unwavering commitment to repositioning Nigeria through the Renewed Hope Agenda”.

House of Reps member,  Esosa Iyawe also highlighted that Edo State was on the right trajectory of growth given the alignment  of Governor Okpebolor with the Progressives agenda.

“I am equally proud of how this spirit of purposeful leadership is reflected in the administration of our Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, whose governance aligns with the President’s reform driven vision and people centered development with the SHINE Agenda”, said Esosa Iyawe, a vocal and persuasive voice in the House of Representatives. It is on record that Engr.  Esosa Iyawe has sponsored the most passed bills by any lawmaker from Edo State in the House of Representatives in the last four years

He promised his Oredo Federal constituents of more democratic dividends in the years ahead, stressing that, “As a representative of my people, I remain steadfast in my commitment to supporting these transformative policies at the grassroots level.
