…Motor Show, Infrastructure Showcase to Spotlight Developments in Abuja

Abuja is set to host a gathering of stakeholders as NIIJA Auto Sports (NAS) organises a National Motor Show and Road Infrastructure Showcase in honour of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 74th birthday.

The event is scheduled for Sunday, March 29, 2026, at the National Stadium, Abuja, and is designed to celebrate the President while highlighting developments in Nigeria’s automotive and infrastructure sectors.

According to organisers, the programme will feature exhibitions and activities aimed at showcasing progress in local automobile production and road infrastructure.

The Grand Patron of NIIJA Auto Sports, Abdulrasheed Maina, is listed among key figures associated with the event, while the NAS President, Dr. Zara Abubakar, is overseeing its coordination.

Organisers noted that the event will highlight ongoing efforts within Nigeria’s automobile sector, including initiatives promoting local assembly and production.

It will also feature a symbolic drive across parts of Abuja to showcase selected road projects and urban development within the Federal Capital Territory.

Dignitaries expected at the event include Abdulaziz Yari, Caleb Muftwang, Ayodele Olawande, Aminu Yusuf, Oluwenimo Joseph Osanipin, and Shehu Dikko, among others.

The programme will include goodwill messages from invited speakers and a ceremonial cake-cutting session in honour of the President.

Organisers described the event as an opportunity for stakeholders across political, business, and civic sectors to come together for celebration and reflection.
