…Commends Grassroots Development Efforts

Entrepreneur and Politician, Basheer Tosin Ashafa (BTA), has joined the Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Isheri Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada, in inspecting a series of developmental projects across the council area.

The projects, which span key sectors including infrastructure, community services, and public welfare, are part of ongoing efforts by the Bada-led administration to improve the quality of life for residents at the grassroots.

Speaking during the commissioning exercise, Ashafa praised Princess Bada for what he described as “remarkable and people-centered leadership,” noting that her administration has demonstrated a clear commitment to sustainable development and responsive governance.

He lauded the mayoress for her “giant strides” in transforming Ikosi-Isheri LCDA, emphasizing that the projects inspected reflect a deep understanding of the needs of the people.

“What we are witnessing here today is a testament to purposeful leadership. Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada has shown vision, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to grassroots development,” Ashafa stated.

Ashafa further urged other Local Council Development Area (LCDA) chairmen across Lagos State to emulate Bada’s approach to governance, stressing the importance of prioritizing community-focused initiatives.

“Development must start from the grassroots. I encourage other council leaders to take a cue from the mayoress’ example by investing in projects that directly impact the lives of the people,” he added.

Residents and community stakeholders who attended the event also commended the council leadership for the visible improvements across the LCDA, expressing optimism about continued progress.

The projects marks another milestone in Ikosi-Isheri’s development agenda, reinforcing the council’s reputation as one of the fast-growing grassroots administrations in Lagos State.
