Vice-Chancellor: Magaji’s experience ‘ll benefit FUSTK, says MAAUN founder, Gwarzo

The MAAUN Group of Universities has congratulated Muhammad Sanusi Magaji on his appointment as Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Science and Technology, Kabo (FUSTK), Kano State, by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In a statement released on Friday, Founder of MAAUN Group of Universities, Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo, described the appointment as well deserved, citing Prof. Magaji’s extensive experience and strong academic pedigree.

Gwarzo noted that Prof. Magaji previously served as the pioneer Rector of the Federal Polytechnic, Kabo, before its elevation to a full-fledged university by the Federal Government. He also recalled his role as Acting President of Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria, Kano, where he contributed to institutional growth and academic development.

According to Gwarzo, the new Vice-Chancellor is a distinguished scholar with a proven commitment to education, research and innovation, expressing confidence that his leadership would position FUSTK for sustainable growth and excellence.

“On behalf of the MAAUN Group of Universities, I congratulate Prof. Magaji on this important national assignment. His wealth of experience in academic administration will no doubt add value to the development of the university,” he said.

Gwarzo further expressed optimism that Prof. Magaji’s leadership would usher in reforms that would strengthen teaching, research and innovation at FUSTK, while enhancing its contribution to national development.

He prayed that Almighty Allah would grant the new Vice-Chancellor wisdom, strength and good health to successfully steer the institution to greater heights.
