
A prominent real estate mogul , Ceo Of One Needs Properties and Construction Limited Comr Stanley Chukwudumebi Otoma, has made a significant donation to support education in Oshimili North, Delta State.
He donated writing materials, textbooks, and sandals worth millions of naira to thousands of students of Omu Girls Model School 11 Ezukwu Ibusa. Additionally, he paid the Common Entrance Exam fees for all students in Oshimili North.
During the donation ceremony, Otoma emphasized the importance of education, stating that it’s the key to Nigeria’s development and a way to prevent crime and underdevelopment.
He noted that investing in education has always been his annual project, and he’s glad to see the positive impact it’s having on the students.
“The absence of good education is an invitation to all manners of crimes and underdevelopment,” Otoma said.
“I am glad seeing great children with talents, I see great destinies, and it gives me joy adding value to their life.
Children need to be nurtured in attaining the destinies God has blessed them with.”
The students were visibly delighted as they received the educational materials, singing songs of praise and appreciation for Otoma’s kindness.
Teachers also received financial assistance, and they applauded Otoma’s generosity, stating that God has sent him to support their efforts.
The event featured drama presentation, cultural exchange and was attended by aides to the Delta State Governor, business leaders, and other dignitaries, who all commended Otoma for investing in the educational system of Oshimili North.
They urged him to continue his selfless services to the community, noting that he’s a worthy son of the soil whose impact is felt across the local government and beyond.
“We need to keep investing in education,” Otoma said.
“Well-meaning Deltans and Nigerians should remember their roots and give back to society to make it a better place for all to live.”
The donation has brought joy to the students, teachers, and the community, and it’s seen as a significant step towards promoting education and development in Oshimili North.
