Tech firm equips Lagos SMEs with modern tools for visibility and profitability

As Nigerian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) continue to grapple with rising operational costs, increased market competition, and shifting customer behaviour, many business owners are seeking practical ways to remain visible and profitable. In response to this, Hydeas Technology LTD, a Cambridge–Lagos based web development and digital transformation company — hosted a high-impact Digital Growth Masterclass for SMEs, bringing together entrepreneurs across consulting, fashion & beauty, agriculture, real estate, hospitality, e-commerce, technology, and professional services.

The masterclass, held earlier this month, brought together entrepreneurs across consulting, beauty and fashion, real estate, hospitality, technology, agriculture, e-commerce, and professional services. Participants were exposed to practical strategies on digital marketing, brand visibility, sales enablement, workflow automation, and the use of modern web technologies to scale sustainably.

According to the Head of Projects at Hydeas Technology, Emmanuel Odoh, the intention behind the masterclass was to “bridge the growing knowledge gap limiting SME growth in Nigeria.” He noted that while many business owners understand the importance of digital visibility, only a few know how to leverage the right tools, platforms, and data-driven strategies effectively.

“We designed the masterclass to be practical, not theoretical,” Emmanuel explained. “Participants walked away with clarity, updated strategies, and digital tools they could deploy right away. The feedback we received confirmed that SMEs are hungry for real, usable solutions—not surface-level advice.”

Participants also learned how automation, proper workflow systems, analytics, and modern customer experience frameworks help reduce operational stress and allow businesses to scale without burning out their teams.

For many in attendance, the insights shared were described as “timely,” “transformational,” and “exactly what my business needed right now.”

In a post-event statement, Godson Akinsanya (MCIOB), CEO of Hydeas Technology, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to supporting Nigerian businesses with modern digital systems.

“Our mission is simple, help businesses become seen, trusted, and profitable in the digital age,” Akinsanya said. “We are building digital systems, automation tools, and visibility solutions that give Nigerian businesses the same competitive advantage enjoyed globally.”

Hydeas Technology also revealed that the masterclass forms part of a broader SME support strategy, with upcoming programmes set to include advanced digital marketing sessions, AI for SMEs, customer experience frameworks, and operational automation workshops.

For SMEs that missed the session, Hydeas is offering limited free consultations to help entrepreneurs diagnose visibility, marketing, and process challenges.

Business owners can book a session via: hydeastech.com/start by combining expertise from its Cambridge and Lagos teams, Hydeas Technology continues to strengthen its commitment to building a digitally empowered, globally competitive Nigerian SME landscape.
