…as he marks decade in fashion industry

Award-winning fashion designer Micheal AladeNusi Badejo better known as Omotailor, founder of the heritage brand Omotailor London 1967, has announced the upcoming launch of his new Ready-to-Wear collection titled KADARA. The designer, who recently won the Nigeria Achievers Awards Fashion Designer of the Year 2024, revealed details of the collection during an appearance on African Independence Television.

Set for release on January 1st, 2026, KADARA draws inspiration from the Yoruba word for “destiny,” reflecting themes of purpose, renewal, and personal evolution. The line features clean silhouettes, minimal yet refined detailing, and elegant tailoring designed for comfort, movement, and effortless self-expression.

According to Omotailor, KADARA symbolizes “a new year, a new beginning, and a new destiny,” marking the brand’s next chapter after ten years in the fashion industry. Each piece in the collection is crafted to embody intention and confidence, capturing the essence of individuals stepping boldly into a new phase of their lives.

KADARA will serve as Omotailor’s flagship RTW collection for 2026, reinforcing the designer’s commitment to blending cultural heritage with contemporary design.
