Cleric urges women to embrace divine identity

The President of Women Aglow International, Bishop Ireti Akinola, has urged women to discover their life’s purpose and fully embrace their God-given identity.

Bishop Akinola made the call while announcing the Women Aglow International 2025 Convention, themed “The King’s Daughter,” scheduled to hold from June 27 to 29 at the Champion Peace Cathedral, Rhema Christian Church and Towers, Temidire, Sango Otta.

Describing the convention as a sacred spiritual engagement, Bishop Akinola said it would bring together women from diverse backgrounds to explore their identity in Christ, discover divine purpose, and experience spiritual renewal.

“This is not merely a conference—it is a divine appointment,” she emphasized. “Our prayer is that every woman who joins us will leave with renewed strength, clarity of vision, and unshakable confidence in her identity as a child of God.”

The annual convention will feature vibrant worship sessions, Scripture-based teachings, practical workshops, and inspiring messages from anointed guest ministers, all aimed at equipping women for Christ-centered living in today’s ever-changing world.

Open to women of all ages, denominations, and walks of life, the event promises to be an inclusive celebration of faith and purpose. Admission is free, but registration is required for smooth coordination.

Session times are as follows: 3:00 p.m. on Friday, and 9:00 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Bishop Akinola, who is also the convener of the convention, along with other seasoned ministers, will be ministering throughout the event.
