To God be the glory.  

We have seen the last Sunday in the month of February.

We have dreams that have been fulfilled; we have dreams that have manifested signs of fulfillment.

What should sustain us is hope. Our faith makes us to have hope especially when we consider the word of God in Luke 1 vs. 37 ( KJV) : “For with God nothing shall be impossible”.

Beloved, I assume that no one wants to be unfruitful this year.  

In other words, we all want some progress  this  year.  We want to be seen to have moved from  being  tagged barren to parents of multiple babies.

Fruitfulness for a single lady is the celebration of her marriage.  For someone who has been working hard without due promotion for years double promotion would be the manifestation of fruitfulness in his life.

For someone who has been lying on the sick bed  with doctors writing him off,  when he suddenly recovers, he becomes fruitful.

We can go on and on.  Steps taken forward from  one  point to a higher one is progress, it is fruitfulness.

For our purpose let’s remain on our focus on childbearing.

Deuteronomy 7 vs. 13 & 14 : ” And he will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply  thee; he will also bless the fruit of the womb,  and the fruit of thy land, thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of  thy sheep, in the land which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee.

Thou shalt be blessed above all people; there shall not be make or female barren among you,  or among  your cattle”.

Beloved going by the words in the Holy Bible, it is clear that God does not want us to  work  without reward.  He wants us to eat in plenty.  God wants us to have companionship  in marriage, He wants us to be have joyful homes with our children .

When a couple have all , what else would  he or she ask for?  When we  all , we testify to Divine health manifesting in emotional  balance, physical ability etc.

God wants us  to multiply by giving birth, he wants even our goats, sheep etc. to multiply.

What greater love can there be for us than  the love of God.    If we all have this testimony, just imagine how happy, we would  be all be.   Don’t you think, we would be  having a feel of paradise on earth?.

  Let’s   refer to the words of our Lord Jesus in John 15 vs. 4&5: ” Abide in me, and I in you.  As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

I am the vine, ye are the branches; He  that abideth in me,  and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit; for without me ye can do nothing”.

Being a Christian especially a born- again  Christian, we assume that you are in Christ but being in Christ isn’t enough,  a person that wants to be fruitful needs to nurture a relationship with Christ.

For  a married couple, they must have nurtured a relationship . In the same way, you need to nurture  your relationship with Christ to be bear children.

Believe it or not, conception is of the Lord. Neither the man nor the woman  can tell when conception would occur.   

Ecclesiastes 11 vs.5  ( NLT) : Just as you cannot understand  the path of the wind or the mystery of a tiny baby  growing in it’s mother’s womb, so  you cannot understand the activity of God, who does all things”.

These days, medical science would use abdominal scan to show the movement of the baby and the gender but sometimes, what the report is  reveals is not  the same as the gender of the child that is born.

Why? It’s because God  might  have decided to hide the gender of the  unborn child from  the forced of darkness.

We are told in Jeremiah 1 vs. 5 ” Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee’ and before thou camest out of the woman I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nation”.

God gave  us promises for fruitfulness  in several Bible passages.

Deuteronomy 28 vs. 11 : ‘ And the LORD shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of they cattle, and in the fruit of the ground,  in the land which the LORD sware unto thy  fathers to give thee.”

Brethren, there are conditions  for fruitfulness even as  branches  of the True Vine.

The first is to establish a relationship with the Holy Spirit.    Jesus called the Holy Spirit the Comforter.

John 14 vs. 16 &17: ” And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seethe him not,  neither knoweth him; but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, shall be in you”.

The Holy Spirit  the third person in the Trinity speaks to us in the ” still small voice”. 

A Christian without a relationship with the Holy Spirit is like a fish outside water.  Such a fish cannot be fulfilled and  could easily become a prey of the enemy.

One of the ways of having a relationship with the Holy Spirit is by  reading and studying the Bible.

We need not just to believe  in God, we also need to trust  that the LORD is able to give us what we ask for. The question now is what are you doing to attract divine intervention?

There are several ways to attract divine intervention.

One of them is soul winning.  Tell somebody about Christ. 

Soul winning is a direct assignment from Jesus .  Mark 16 vs. 15 confirms this : ” And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature”.

 Many of us shy away from this because we feel that people may ask, why is God not yet gloried in your life?  In our society, a woman waiting on the Lord that engages in soul winning may be asked this type of question but it shouldn’t really matter because as you do God’s work, God will definitely work on you.

Brethren do you know that regularly praising God is one the ways to invite the Holy Spirit into one’s life.

It is often said that when we praise God, we cause heaven to the opened and when the heavens opens, blessings  are released unto us.  Our expectations in the Lord are fulfilled.

Brethren, many of those we see giving testimonies actually put in a lot  of  prayer, thanksgiving , and service to God among others before the testimony  manifests.

Beloved when we pray, on a scale of 70- 30, let your praises and thanksgiving be 70% while your requests is about 30%.

When you do this, you move the Heavens into action.

With this activity of yours,  the merciful God will wipe out the years of delay.

By the grace of God, your testimony will manifest very soon in Jesus

Let’s take this prayer point.   Lord Jesus let my life be fruitful this year.     

In whatever area of life, you are trusting God for fruitfulness, this prayer seems simple but it is powerful. It is  a manifestation of your trust in God.  It is a sign of your total surrender to the power of the Most High God.

Brethren, be confident. The  word of God tells us in Isaiah 8 vs. 18: ” Behold , I and the children whom the LORD hath given me are for signs  and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion”.

Brethren, you need to make this confession on daily basis.  God has given you children and  they will manifest in Jesus name.

As you put your trust in the LORD, the one that is being mocked would soon be celebrated.

Beloved, demonstrate your trust in God and you shall be fruitful in any area you wish. I see you celebrated this year in Jesus name.
