Edo NASS- elect pledges better representation

NEWLY elected member of the House of Representatives for Egor/Ikpoba-Okha federal constituency of Edo State, Jude Ise-Idehen yesterday said he would give more representation to the people of his constituency when he resumes at the green chambers later this year.

Ise-Idehen who is of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, stated this shortly after a thanksgiving service at St George’s Catholic, Oroghene area of Benin City where he said he won the election majorly because of the prayers and support from the leadership and members of his church where he also pledged to help complete the building of the church’s auditorium before the end of the year.

He defeated the incumbent All Progressives Congress, APC, lawmaker Hon. Ehiozuwa  Agbonayinma,  in the just concluded  Presidential and National Assembly elections.

He told journalists that “This is the freest election since 1999. All the security agencies, INEC, have all said that. If my opponent is not satisfied he knows what to do instead of resorting to attacks.

“I feel wonderful and relieved; I thank God for this day and the leaders of my party for believing in me. I thank the people of Ikpoba Okha/Egor that voted for me and supporting the PDP.

While appealing to people of the state to vote PDP candidates in the forthcoming state house of assembly elections assured that the PDP will not disappoint the people for the trust and confidence it shown in the Presidential and national assembly elections in the state.

“We won Edo South for Senate, Presidency and house of Representatives. I appeal to our people to come again to support our candidates”. He added
