Insurance can hit N1trn premium income by 2020 — Law Union & Rock MD

THE insurance sector can rake in N1 trillion premium income by 2020 if there is collaboration among operators in the industry, Managing Director/ Chief Executive Officer of Law Union & Rock Plc, Mr. Jide Orimolade, has said. Orimolade, who made the assertion at a media forum in Lagos, stated that operators should collaborate and curb rate cutting, noting that continuous abuses in rate cutting will not augur well for the industry.

Crisis hit freight forwarding groups

THERE are indications that crisis may be brewing in the freight forwarding sub-sector of the Nigerian maritime industry as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Association of Nigerian Licensed Agents, ANLCA, Mr. Peter Obi, has been accused of anti-association activities.
