ABA—Three suspects were arrested by operatives of Abia State Police Command in Aba for being in possession of armoured electricity cables worth over N1.2 million, belonging to Enugu Electricity Distribution Company, EEDC.

The suspects, Ogbonna Ifegwu and Obioma Iwu, were arrested along Ekenna Avenue, near City Global, Aba.

Abia State Commissioner of Police, Leye Oyebade, who paraded the suspects added that the operatives of Obehie Police Station also arrested one David Jite of Umuelechi village, Obuzor Asa, Ukwa West Local Government Area with EEDC cables and motor battery.
