NAUTH moves to tackle Lassa fever, says no outbreak yet in Anambra

NNEWI—THE management of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital, NAUTH, Nnewi, Anambra State, has introduced measures aimed at combating the spread of Lassa fever, if noticed in any part of the state. The Chief Medical Director, CMD of NAUTH, Prof. Anthony Igwegbe made this known during a Sensitization Seminar organized by the hospital to educate workers in the institution on the disease and how to tackle it, if noticed.

Where the perpetrator is a family member, someone trusted, with an obligation to protect and care for the survivor, it becomes even more traumatic.

UMUAHIA—A CHIEFTAIN of the ruling All Progrssives Congresss, APC, in Abia State, Dr. Ephraim Iroakazi has come in defence of President Muhammadu Buhari over the allegation that he has marginalized Igbo people, saying that the President has so far given Ndigbo what was due to them. Speaking to reporters in Umuahia, Iroakazi said that President Buhari has not in any way sidelined the Igbo so far.
