The Omateye family of Bateren in Warri North Local Governmenr Area of Delta State, has faulted a recent media report credited to some individuals who claimed to be acting on behalf of the family, with the name of Omateye Organisation Bateren, to the effect that the family held a meeting recently during which it was resolved that the President or the Olori-ebi (head) of the Omateye family are the only people with the right to nominate persons into the board of Itsekiri Regional Development Committee, IRDC, to be shortly constituted, upon the lapse of the tenure of the former IRDC board.
