Pipeline Vandalism: Police in Zone 5 arrest 14
The Zone 5 Police headquarters in Benin has arrested 14 suspected oil thieves and pipeline vandals who specialize in breaking petroleum products distribution pipelines and siphoning the products at Obazagbon Village, in Uhunmode Local Government Area of Edo State. At the end of the operation which took place at about 2. 30 am last week, jerry cans filled with a total of 700,050 litres of petroleum products were recovered as well as vehicles used for the operation.
