Amazing miracles on your way

Jesus on the cross

Funmi Komolafe

Brothers and sisters, I am starting this week’s Joyful Homes in a joyous mood  and I need you to condition yourself to be part of this.

Most likely, your question is why? The answer is simple. Events of last week, especially the manifestation of the awesome power of God is already giving me a filling of joy and I suggest you pull out of that mood of lamentation, tears or despair because great things are about to happen?

Ist Kings 18 vs 41:  “And Elijah said unto Ahab, get thee up, eat and drink; for there is an abundance of rain”.

God has spoken, this is the season of abundance of rain.I refer to the just concluded 64th  Annual Convention of the Redeemed Christian Church of God where the Lord spoke through Pastor Enoch Adeboye that he is about to  send a rain of twins. People were asked to name the sex of their choice.

Brethren, how long have you been waiting? Do you think He has forgotten you?    Definitely not. Whether you were at the RCCG programme or not, you can still key into that word of knowledge.

How? Use it as a prayer point.  Remind God of what He has said and ask Him to remember you.        Hannah asked God to remember her and He did and gave her Samuel and five other children.

As if that wasn’t enough, Pastor Gbenga Oso    of Laugher Foundation International Ministry also described this season as a “ season of manifestation”.

Did I hear you say, ‘I am not even married not talk of having a baby?’  Whatever is your desire, you need to call on God to remember you.

Don’t get tired  –  I am led to Isaiah 40 vs. 28 and I believe it is for someone who thinks his or her situation is hopeless.  Hear the word of the Lord in Isaiah 40 vs. 28: “Hast thou not known? Hast thou not heard, that the everlasting  God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? There is no searching for his understanding”.

Indeed you may  have been waiting for some years but, remember,    the Lord’s time is not our time.  He is never late.

A believer is assured of God  meeting his or her needs as long as one is focused.  Refuse to be distracted.  Pretend you did not see or hear those who have been mocking    you.    Very soon, they will have no choice but to congratulate you.

How do I know?    Verse 31 of Isaiah 40 assures: “But they that wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint”.

When the God enlarges your coast, when He puts laughter into your mouth, when He puts a new song in your mouth,    definitely    you will walk confidently.    You will walk joyfully.

What that issue that has been giving your sleepless nights?    What is that issue that  has been making you shed tears    while others are sleeping? Whatever it is, God is able.

You don’t need to get yourself to a state of depression.  To do so is to open your life to the devil.  Anyone who does that is likely to become sick and sickness, as Pastor Adeboye said during the Convention, is a manifestation of the work of the devil.  It could lead to death and the dead does not testify to miracles.

Is your case that of financial stress? Do you owe?  Is the economic turn down affecting your business or standard of living?

Whatever is the issue, don’t allow the challenge to    have negative impact on your  relationship    with God.    Be adamant.  Hold unto God.    If you need to shed tears, shed tears while praying and not to any man.

Experience has shown that half of the people you complain to are not only unable to help you, they mock you the moment you turn your back, but God cannot mock    you.  Jesus should be your greatest confidant because he never fails.

‘Remember me , O Lord’

Lets get back to the issue of remembrance.

Let’s refer to the story of    Hannah as recorded in the first book of Samuel    chapter 1 verse 11, “ And she vowed a vow, and said, O LORD of hosts, if you wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but will give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give    unto the LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head”.

The key word here is  ‘remember me’.  This is the time we need to ask God to remember us because this year, 2016, you must hold something tangible.        For the extra day of this year; 366 days, you must get something    extra from the Lord. Be more determined.  Be more focused.    Create time to attend programmes that are focused on your challenge.

If a couple can    relocate from London to Nigeria just because they wanted children and got a set of triplets at Laugher Foundation, what are you doing?      I am not asking you to resign, but it you have to take your annual leave to address the challenge you have been battling with, do so.

For instance, September Holy Ghost Night of RCCG is for women trusting God for the fruit of the womb. Begin to prepare now. Begin to tell God that you will not attend that programme in vain.

There are other churches that have similar programmes.    Look for a church where the word of God is truly being preached    and ask God to remember you.      As you do so, emulate Hannah    by making a vow. Make a vow that you have the capacity to fulfill and the Lord will visit you.

Your testimony is imminent –        Just in case your mind is so conditioned to science  that you have written yourself off because of a medical report, hear this:.

During the last Convention of RCCG, held August 1 to August 7,    on the 5th  day,    the total number of babies born during the convention rose    to 112 babies ; 67 boys and 45 girls, and this was announced by the General Overseer, Adeboye.

A miracle that startled everyone was the birth of quadruplets; three boys and a girl.      God simply took out figure 4 out of the 64 years    and used is as a sign to everyone that He is still the Almighty.      The quadruplets were not born during the 62nd  or the 63rdConvention but the 64th,. What do you say to that? It’s certainly beyond human understanding.

Also on August 7, Pastor Oso told his congregation that for the seven days of that week, the church was blessed with a baby each.    In other words, seven babies in seven days.

Brethren, are you still in doubt? Cast it out.    Like Ahab, ‘get thee up, eat and drink; for there is an abundance of rain’.

Your rain of babies, marriages, financial breakthrough, healing, promotion, etc is on the way in the mighty name of Jesus.
