ABIA State Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu has sacked his entire media team. No reason was however given by the sack which was announced by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Chief Chijioke Nwakodo.

TOMATO Pastes manufacturers in the country including Dangote Farms, Erisco Foods Limited and Savanna Farms Thursday told the House of Representatives Joint Committees on Health Care Services and Drugs and Narcotics that over 91.1 percent of tomato pastes in the country were fake and substandard.

FG distributes 500 threshers, 100 tillers to farmers

The Federal Government on Thursday in Abuja distributed 500 units of threshers and 100 units of power tillers to rice producing farmers in 12 states. Speaking at the ceremony, the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Chief Audu Ogbeh listed the benefiting states as Ebonyi, Niger, Taraba, Kaduna, Enugu, Kebbi, Katsina, Oyo, Anambra, Kano, Jigawa and Bayelsa.

FADAMA to build over 44-km roads in Anambra to help farmers

Anambra Project Coordinator of FADAMA III, Mr Chuks Egbueh, said on Thursday that the project would soon embark on the construction of 44 kilometres access roads across the state. Egbueh, who disclosed this in Awka in an interview with newsmen, said this would enable farmers to transport their produce to urban areas.
