The Federal Government on Thursday, said work will commence on the Lagos – Ibadan Express way by Monday.

Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Mr. Babatunde Fashola disclosed this during the town hall meeting of the Buhari administration held in Abuja .

Fashola said that the commencement of the project which will take off along with other priority projects is in fulfillment of the campaign promises of the present administration.

He said that government is working out on formalities and standards for the smooth implementation of its mass housing plan.

Fashola, who lamented the ongoing vandalization of the oil pipelines, expressed the determination of government to deliver on steady power supply in the country.
