THE incumbent member representing Uvwie Local Government Area in Delta State House of Assembly, Mr Efe Ofobruku of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, has been re-elected for a second term after beating the candidate of the Labour Party, LP, Joseph Agbamu, who polled 10,541 votes to come second.
Wike leads in Rivers governorship poll
The results so far collated at the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Rivers State office in Port Harcourt, shows that the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, won in 15 local government areas out of the 17 councils so far released for the governorship poll.
Chi adds 25% more to Hollandia milk
Chi Limited, brand owners of Hollandia Evaporated milk says it has added 25 percent extra milk to the brand. This was disclosed by the Managing Director of the company, Mr. Deepanjan Roy in a statement where he said: “we want to draw consumers’ attention to the 25 percent extra milk in Hollandia Evaporated milk 215gram pack when compared to other competing brands at the same price.”
APC hails INEC for cancelling Ilaje polls
Akure—THE All Progressives Congress APC, in Ondo State has commended the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, for declaring the elections in the Ilaje constituencies inconclusive following alleged election malpractices during last Saturday’s election in the state.
