Ekwuluobia—The management of Federal College of Education, Technical, Umunze, Anambra State in collaboration with National Commission for Colleges of Education, NCCE, has organised a three-day capacity building workshop for Teacher Educators on Early Childhood Care and Education in the college. The workshop followed public outcry over the poor quality of Nigeria Certificate in Education, NCE, graduates, who are alleged to be incapable of effectively delivering teaching instructions at the primary school level.

Ekwulobia—The Proprietor of Rojenny Olympic (multi-purpose) Games Village and Stadium, Oba, Idemmili South Local Government Area, Anambra State, Chief Rommy Ezeonwuka, has embarked on renovation of the facilities at the games village to make it a breeding ground for Nigerian athletes. This is coming as he had even taken delivery of a five container-load of rolls of tartar tracks and drums of adhesives meant for the tartar track lanes in the stadium and other items for installation worth several millions of Naira.
