Integrating Biafra: Party supremacy
The original idea was to carve an enclave out of Nigeria in an area mostly populated by the Igbos among other ethnic groups like the Efiks, Kalabaris, Ibibios, Ijaws, Ogonis and others, stemming from a violent disagreement in the Northern part of the country, which put the lives of people sojourning there from the Eastern part of the country in danger. The exodus which ensued when the Southerners, mostly Igbo, streamed back home to save their lives, gave passion to the desire of keeping away from the North. Magical miracles at the Lord’s Chosen Church
Some of the testimonies at the recent two-day programme of The Lords Chosen Charistmatic Revival Church located at Ijesha in Lagos can only be described as absurd but authorities there insist that what they call a “canal mind may never understand the workings of the spiritual.” A woman from Onitsha told a tale of how, after her marriage, she gave birth to a baby girl. According to her, she got pregnant again and desperately desired a baby boy but to her utter dismay, various scan examinations confirmed that she was carrying another baby girl. Determined to have a baby boy, she said she went to a Lord’s Chosen programme at Onitsha and prayed God to intervene.
