GRAFT: Jail looters, Sultan tells Buhari

As eminent Nigerians continued to urge the Buhari administration to tread cautiously in the fight against corruption and perceived looters of the commonwealth, the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar, yesterday, asked President Muhammadu Buhari to jail those found guilty of embezzlement while their property should be confiscated.

Buhari orders review of economic policies before 2016 budget

President Muhammadu Buhari says his administration will gladly reverse or abandon some inherited economic policies, if doing so will lead to the creation of more jobs for Nigerians.
The president stated this at a meeting with executive members of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN), in the Presidential Villa, Abuja on Monday.

Lagos Okada riders ignore restriction order

It was gathered that in many instances where offenders were apprehended, they were later let off the hook after some certain amount of money, ranging from N2, 000 to N5, 000, per okada must have been collected by taskforce and the police. At press time, there was no record of any offender that had been convicted for violation of the restriction law that could serve as deterrent.
