Mammoth crowd in Lafia for Wada’s screening

By Kingsley Fanwo

Thousands of Kogi State residents in Abuja, Suleija and Lafia hit the PDP Secretariat in Lafia, venue of the Kogi Governorship Screening of the party, in support of the reelection bid of the governor.

Security operatives had a battle trying to manage the surging crowd as they were chorusing “Win With Wada”.

Party chieftains at the venue had a hectic time finding their way into the office due to the unprecedented crowd.

A Kogi indigene resident in Lafia, Segun Adeoye told Vanguard that they have resolved to back the governor’s second term bid as a result of his outstanding performance.
“Gov. Wada is a governor with a difference. He has done so much without noise and that is why his opponents are condemning him. We appreciate his leadership of the state and will ensure we mobilize for his re-election”, he said.

Also at Lafia for the screening are other aspirants including Alh. Isah Jibrin Echocho and Mr. Banjo Amoto. Amoto said he is in the race to give hope to Kogi people.
