ASABA—The leadership of Anioma Congress has re-affirmed its endorsement of the Delta North senatorial candidate of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Peter Nwaoboshi in the coming election.

The first vice-chairman of Delta State Traditional Rulers’ Council and leader of the Anioma Congress, Dr. Emmanuel Efeizomor II, stated this at Owa-Oyibu, said the endorsement was in the best interest of the Anioma nation.

Efeizomor II disclosed that the endorsement of Chief Nwaoboshi was based on number of factors, including his contribution to the development of the Anioma nation.

He advised persons opposed to Nwaoboshi’s candidature not to allow their narrow and parochial interests to subsume the larger political interest of the people of Delta North.
