Plateau PDP condemns burning of Jonathan’s campaign buses

By Marie-Therese Nanlong.

Jos – The Plateau state Acting Chairman, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Raymond Dabo has condemned last Saturday burning of two campaign buses of President Goodluck Jonathan by hoodlums at Mango street and Bauchi road area of Jos.

Reacting to the incident yesterday, Dabo said it is unfortunate that certain people in the name of politics are bent on throwing the state into anarchy and urged citizens to be peaceful.

According to him, “Peoples Democratic Party, PDP is a peaceful Party. We are not insinuating anything or pointing accusing fingers at anyone but we condemn this act in totality.

“We know the security agencies might have done their jobs but we can’t afford to throw the state into anarchy if every vehicle with Buhari poster is burnt, what will happen?”

He further appealed to PDP supporters to remain calm, carry out the campaign with decorum and ensure peace is sustained.
