Fresh students of Elizade University, Ilara-Mokin, Ondo State, have been advised to squarely face their studies, as well as shun acts capable of jeopardizing their ambition of acquiring quality education towards the pursuit of academic excellence.

Chief Michael Ade.Ojo, founder of the university, who gave this charge while addressing the students at a session organized for him to formally meet them, however urged them to adhere strictly to the rules and regulations guiding their studentship in the university, warning that the institution would not condone indiscipline from any student.

While revealing that his establishment of the university was based on the big gap discovered between the nation’s education and that of the advanced countries, Chief Ade.Ojo expressed his readiness to bridge the gap by making Elizade University a model for Nigeria and Africa.

Charging the students to be agents of change that the country needs, he said: “You must apportion your time based on the significance of whatever you want to do.
