APC vows to cause upset in Burutu

The All Progressives Congress, APC, has vowed to cause a radical change in the tide of political events in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State in the upcoming council elections.

Speaking at a campaign rally and inauguration of the party executives at both the local and wards levels, the party’s council Chairman, Mr. Prince Owei, appealed to the people of Burutu town to vote APC with a view to witnessing a change in the development of the council.

Owei begged the people to embrace the wind of change advocated by APC as it affords the much needed weapon to sweep away “wicked and insensitive government” from Burutu council.
The party leader enjoined the people to support APC and reject whatever represents bad and obnoxious leadership.

He said: “In the 80s, Burutu was a tourist resort centre, but now it is a mere desert. For 16 years, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has impoverished the people; now APC has come to assuage the plight of the people.”
