NNPC dismisses alleged $10.8bn missing oil revenue

Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, yesterday cleared the air over allegation of missing $10.8 billion of the controversial un-remitted $49.8 billion oil revenue.
The General Manager, Media Relations Department, Group Public Affairs Division of the corporation, Dr. Omar Farouk Ibrahim, who stated this in a statement issued in Abuja, said no money was missing.

Spaniard begs EFCC, IGP to probe alleged N3.6bn contract fraud in Imo

A Spanish contractor, Mr. Jose Lopez-Pepe, has petitioned the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, urging it to probe alleged 1.6 million Euro(3.6bn) contract fraud in Imo State.
Specifically, Lopez-Pepe alleged that his Nigerian partner, one Benjamin Emenike, connived with some commissioners in Imo State to divert the contract funds.

We were able to identify those in government and the quantity of product they steal from the Nigerian people daily. No Joke! Basketmouth under fire over rape joke

Ace comedian, Bright Okpocha, popularly known as Basketmouth came under fire as friends and followers on social media (facebook and twitter) attacked him over his ‘rape joke’ on Sunday.
