THE Lagos State Government has brought to 180 the number of Parks and Gardens it has completed and handed over to various communities in the state since the inception of the aggressive open space development campaign called “Operation Green Lagos.”, The State last week, commissioned the Oshodi-Heritage Garden, the Dolphin Park and the Alao Aka-Bashorun recreational Park and Garden, bringing the number of such facilities to 180.

GOVERNOR Theodore Orji of Abia State has stated the desire by his administration on building an airport in the state.
According to him, the airport project is a noble project worth initiating, even if it will not be completed within the life of his administration.

But in the situation at hand, the questions to be asked should be: In the share allotment, did the company receive the money? And if the company received the money, why should the regulator penalise the registrar, because the registrar on their own cannot pay a shareholder because they don’t own the company.

THE Director General, National Oil Spill Detection and Response Agency NOSDRA, Sir, Peter Idabor, says the enabling laws to regulate the oil industries on matters of oil spill are not strong enough to punish oil spill offenders.
