No matter how sonorous the tone of a particular music may be, it never gives comfort from a bad speaker. The speaker is however not bad based on the look or age but by the technology behind its making.

Over time, the challenge has been to overcome the distortion that frustrates seamless sound, particularly when the speaker is getting cranky, but the new speaker technology known as the Aramid fibre cone may have come with a solution.

The Aramid fibre cone speaker maintains a more constant dispersion pattern across all frequencies in its range and transmits far fewer delayed sounds to consumers.

The problem with many speakers is the possession of weak reliability which requires the use of special textile material for bass sound playback, which experts say, are not too good for bass.

But the Aramid Fibre cone speaker comes with a special textile normally used for bullet-proof vests or fire fighting suits with high resistance. It is normally referred to as ‘Kevlar’ and delivers crystal clear sound owing to its low audio signal distortion capability.

Interestingly, LG Electronics, in introducing a new range of home theatre devices, LG BH9630 and DH7530 recently, said the speaker technology of the systems, were based on Aramid Fibre cone.  Both systems, which boast of over 1,000 watts sound output are equipped with Aramid Fibre Cone Speakers.

The BH9630 Blu-ray player for instance has a 5.1 channel speaker system and full High Definition upscaling that enables consumers enjoy external content from the internet or devices in high resolution. It provides a solution to poor image resolution on content files with the Full HD Resolution Upscaler, which magically improves the resolution of the original content making it look great on the big screen as well.

General Manager, Media Division, LG Electronics, Mr. Jae Sang Lee prided his company as blazing the trail on new technologies for home theatre systems, adding that “this is to further reaffirm our status as the leader in Home Entertainment as we have presently introduced the Aramid Fibre Cone speaker technology into our product line-up.
