By Gbenga Ariyibi

ADO EKITI—IN apparent bid to resolve the lingering crisis in Ekiti State House of Assembly, the House leadership has dissolved all the existing standing committees, while the clerk of the House, Mr. Tunde Famoyegun, has been removed and redeployed.
The House has been enmeshed with controversies in recent time with the Speaker, Adewale Omirin facing impeachment threat.

At a briefing, yesterday, the House Majority leader, Mr. Churchill Adedipe, alongside his colleagues, denied any crisis in the House, noting that new standing committees would soon be reconstituted to inject fresh ideas and innovations into the running of the committees.
