In this concluding part of her reaction to the issue of same sex marriage/relationship, Pastor(Mrs.)Ruth Nick-Essien, Founder/Presiding Pastor of Exodus Evangelical Ministry in Lagos, reveals how greed and poverty provide breeding grounds for gay practice. She also examines critically the threat posed on the continuity of the human race.

Talking about the economic aspect of gay practice, you’ll find that for the young guys of fifteen and sixteen who are now suddenly getting involved in the act, their problem is economical. Some of them feel they cannot cope any longer with their parents’ inability to adequately provide for them. Hence, when gays approach them to have them as boyfriends and get all they need in return, they jump at the offer. I’m not talking about Europe and America now; but about Nigeria.

Because of the poverty rate which is a product of the corruption in the country, young guys are being lured into gay practice. There was a young man asked to do a modeling job. He went for the auditioning and was taken, so, when he continued to remind the guy helping him about getting him involved whenever there was a modeling work, the guy asked him, “How long are you going to continue with this your modeling thing? I can show you a better way!”.

He began to tell him about a country(name withheld) where there are some rich guys looking for  young virgin boys who have never had sex with men before. He told him that he could be taken to the country for his modeling career, on the condition that he would be assigned to one of these rich guys for as long as he wished. He told him that through that, whatever he may need- cars, money, etc., he would get in abundance. You see, they present modeling to these guys, but the hidden agenda is to export them for survival through gay practice.

Back to the human rights talk of international bodies, are we not supposed to protect humans generally? So, where is the protection of the next generation if this generation refuses to make the next generation?

So, what we are saying as Nigerians is that we reject same sex marriage because we’re fighting for the right of the next generation and the continuity of the earth.

Do you know that way back in the 60s, 70s and 80s people were okay with four, five, six, seven children and more, but these days, hardly do you see young couples who would make five children? They can’t cope anymore! That’s what is going to happen when we start having same sex marriage as well; gradually, there will be no human being anymore!
God created a woman, and put a womb inside of her, making her unable to get herself pregnant unless a man gets her pregnant. He created the male and female for procreation, so that as this generation fades out, there is another generation.

Therefore, if you watch carefully, you will find that God is seriously angry with countries where this practice has grown adversely. Look at the kind of killings and natural disasters we have now? When you look at the Bible, you’ll find that these were similar occurrences in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah which made the Lord to turn his back on those nations! And that’s what God will do to any nation that behaves in the same way.

It’s like you producing a microphone and someone else is putting it on the oven or grinding it! It’s an abuse of purpose! God created the man to marry the woman so that they can both produce the next set of generation. So, allowing a man to marry a man is directly putting your fingers into the eyes of God, and He is not going to take it. So, any nation that encourages it is directly making God an enemy; He will fight!

We in Nigeria do not want that to happen in our country because we have too many issues already. If God weren’t wise, He would have created only males or only females, but since in His wisdom He has created two opposite sexes, we’ll be doing ourselves good by taking it that way.

A gay couple can never be a family because even the dictionary tells us what a family means; a man(father) and his wife(woman) and their children. Marriage also is defined by the dictionary as the ceremony by which a man and a woman become husband and wife. So, maybe these same sex people may have to rewrite their own dictionary to suit themselves.

In these time, I would advise families to observe their children closely because they(children)might just want to try what it feels like to be with one of same sex. The devil is so funny, hence, from there, he would make them like it. Then suddenly, you’ll begin to hear them say that was how they were created. Of course that’s what they all say nowadays.

They once grew up as boys and then suddenly, you find them having feminine  tendencies to the extent that they begin to undergo surgeries to look like women. Despite all their efforts, they still cannot make their voice feminine! The creator is still the creator. A man will be a man and will forever remain a man; same with a woman!

Mothers too should desist from letting their children sleep over in other people’s houses. A guy in that house might rape your son and a lady might rape your daughter as well! We should also be careful about what they watch on television.’
