He became a columnist at quite a tender age of 18 and since then he has been making a difference in the print media.

Paul Adepoju is a writer, freelance journalist, medical scientist and researcher. He holds a bachelor degree in medical laboratory science from Imo State University, Owerri, Nigeria, a law diploma from ALISON, Canada and several certificates in journalism.
His articles are published on Sahara Reporters and other leading news websites. He writes an online health column for cp-africa.com and has worked with several top-rated international magazines like FAB Magazine and The AFRican.
He has gotten the attention, recognition and commendation of veteran journalists like Chief Dele Momodu and Prof Pius Adesanmi. Furthermore, he has partnered with great minds like Nasir El-Rufai, Obiagweli Ezekwesili and Sen Lekan Balogun on some of his past projects.
In 2010, he published Maga Will Still Pay, an exposé on the multi-million dollar booming internet fraud business in Nigeria. The article caught the attention of a BBC documentary producer who came to Nigeria with a production crew. He directed and produced an internationally acclaimed documentary that was based on Paul’s article.
As a practicing medical scientist, Paul is also a researcher with more than ten research papers presented at international conferences including International AIDS Society’s 2011 Conference in Rome, International Students Congress of Medical Science (ISCOMS) in Netherland and American Society for Clinical Pathology’s 2011 conference in Las Vegas.
Paul does more than writing, he’s taking things personal. He was a speaker and panelist at the 1st Regional Educational Summit on HIV/AIDS in Africa. In December, he was invited by the honorable minister for Youth Development to participate at the white ribbon conference on rape.
He has bagged several awards including 2010 Young Journalist of the Year award nomination and certificates of recognition from international agencies like UNESCO and Goi Peace Foundation, Japan. He believes he is gifted not just to write the problems, but be part of the solutions.
