The Setraco Junior Tennis Clinic/Tournament which will commence its third edition on 13th to 22nd December 2011 will be in the Under-16, Under-14, Under-12 and Under 10 categories.

The Managing Director of the company, Engr. Michael Hachenberg while inaugurating the Tennis Clinic at its inception two years ago said that the objective was to develop Nigerian children in sports.

He said that the Tennis Clinic will not only develop the sporting skill of the participants, but will also keep the child positively busy during the holiday, thereby reducing crime in our society.

He told the team of coaches led by clinic coordinator Mr. Rotimi Akinloye, who incidentally is a National Tennis Coach, that the children should be made national and international champions in no distant time.

The Chief Executive Officer of Setraco Engr. Said Khalaf who is an ardent Tennis player had told the coaches that his dream was for the players to be national players soon.

Over 300 children are expected to take part in this year’s tennis clinic that will be held at the National Stadium, Abuja.
