NCAA denies JET A1 adulteration

LAGOS – Director-General, Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, NCAA, Dr. Harold Demuren, yesterday, refuted allegations by Major Oil Marketers Association of Nigeria, MOMAN, and Association of Petroleum Product Marketers, APPM, over the conversion of domestic kerosene to aviation fuel, stressing that there were stringent process oil markets must go through before the supply of the product to airlines.

The two oil groups had  petitioned the Presidency, alleging that some of their members were selling Dual Purpose Kerosene,DPK, to airlines in the country as aviation fuel.

At an interactive session with newsmen, in Lagos,  Demuren said: “NCAA had summoned all the major marketers and was looking into the allegation.
