AN unknown, middle-aged  woman, dark  in complextion, is lying critically ill at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Idi-Araba, Lagos.

A statement signed by the institution’s Head, Corporate Services Division, Mrs. Hope Nwawolo,  said the woman, who was a victim of a hit-and-run incident along the Apapa-Oshodi expressway, was taken, unconscious, to the Accident & Emergency wing of the hospital on Wednesday September 14, 2011 by a Police Constable.

She noted that ever since, medical and health personnel at the hospital have  battled to save the patient who had remained comatose. All efforts to identify her or trace her relations have not been successful.

The statement urges members of the public  missing a relation that fits the description of the woman in question, to contact the corporate services division for further details and possible identification.
