THE Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), last week, stated that President Goodluck Jonathan will be declaring the 2011 Lagos International Trade Fair (LITF) open.

In a parley with pressmen, the Vice President and Chairman, trade promotion board of LCCI, Alhaji Remi Bello disclosed that the president is expected to declare the fair open on Friday 4th of November 2011.

According to him, the theme of this year’s fair is “Increasing Competitiveness of Nigerian Products in the Global Market”. This theme, he said, is an indication of the chamber’s readiness to motivate public-private sector collaboration for the provision of an enabling business environment that will promote and encourage the Nigerian industrial sector to improve quality in order to meet the challenges of standards and competitiveness in the global market.
