As information plays an important role in business and economic development by being the source of knowledge, education and human capital, FasTrack International School has made Information Communication Technology (ICT), topmost subject in its curriculum.

The director of the school, Mrs Adesua Obaseki noted that the school provided a cost effective and time efficient computer and communication technology for the use of the pupils as it has a significant impact in the society.

Obaseki who gave these information at the Graduation/Prize Giving Day of the school, penultimate week, reiterated that the continually striving of the institution to bring out the best in the children, has recorded all round excellent performance from current year IV and V classes in all the external examinations that they wrote.

According to her, the year IV children recorded a 100 per cent pass in the all Catholic School Examinations as a way of preparing them in writing external examinations. She went on:

“All our present year V children that sat for the National Common Entrance Examination recorded 100 per cent pass, adding, “these are examinations meant for primary 6 children.”

The director appealed to the parents to take advantage of the various activities in the school and allow their children to participate in them saying, “We shall continue to expose our teachers to various seminars and keep them abreast of the global trends in teaching.”

Her words: “It is a time for us to say farewell to our school leaving class; a very wonderful set of children graduating from the school. In the last couple of years, FasTrack International School has worked with a team of experts drawn from various departments of the educational sector to put together a globally acceptable curriculum for a highly qualitative and competitive college.”

The proposed FasTrack College shall be a citadel in inspiring character, discipline and academic excellence,” Obaseki stated.

She further urged the graduating students to be responsible, dedicated and unique in their own ways; take along all the values that were imparted during their stay in the school and also prayed that they will always remain leaders wherever they find themselves and be leader by example; and to always remember God at all times.

Also, Obaseki promised the parents that FasTrack will remain committed towards entrenching core leadership values as well as imparting total training in their children, saying “this would be realized by employing academic and extra-curriular activities which according to her, the children embarked on various educational trips to Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), SOS Village, the Trade Fair, the Cinema and Shoprite during the last academic session.
