Garden City, Port Harcourt is the place to be. It is a beautiful city that has regained its lost glory. Forget the traffic. New roads are being constructed and even rails would soon ease out the traffic trauma.
The people are very receptive and love visitors. Athletes and officials are enjoying the city. Just as the Sports Festival is getting to a close, many athletes have lost their events and are now free birds.
Organisers know the implication of having both sexes compete for two weeks. All work and no play….and body nobi wood.
Yesterday at the Presidential hotel, cartons of condoms were distributed freely. To my amazement, men and women were rushing to get their share. Dickson Iwarime had to go back to bring more. When I made to head back to my hotel, Iwarime presented me with a strange gift. He handed a full carton of condom to me. Why one carton?”, I asked myself.
I now remembered that they know that I have many friends. Its not good to mention their names in print. They know themselves. It is the gift from Port Harcourt to you.
To stay alive. Condom, condom to Port Harcourt. It sounds more like come down, come down to Port Harcourt.
